Ronald R Render, 82, of Valparaiso, Ind., passed away Sunday September 29, 2013. He was born February 24, 1931 in Akron, Ohio to Caludis and Ruth Render, received the Bronze Star for his service with the U.S. Marines in the Korean War and received a B.A. & B.S. in Business Administration from Kent State University. Ron has been a Sales manager with Goodrich Tire & Rubber Company and the Dana Corporation his entire career, retiring in 2006. He was a proud member of the Goldwing Roadriders association having logged hundreds of thousands of miles on the road.
On December 27, 1952 he married Betty Berry who survives along with their children Randall (Catherine) Render of Uniontown, Ohio, Julie (Mike) Danner of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Cynthia (John) Rademacher of Niles, Ill., Robert Render of Lodi, Ohio; grandchildren, Phillip (Kelly) Render, Peter (Jessica) Render ,Johnny Render, Anna (Pat) Graham, Mae (Mike) Beitzel, Adam Danner, Dacota Render, Zachariah Render and Sara Render; and six great-grandsons, Luke and Nolan Render, Miles and Marshall Beitzel, Caleb Kelley and Madden Chek. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Christopher Chek.
