On February 11, 1991, Richard A. Milroy formed RAM Enterprise, Inc. when he purchased three truckloads of used conveyor belt from a Nevada mining company and re-sold it to distributors and end-user customers. A lot has changed in the 25 years since then. RAM has gone from a company with one used pickup truck, a home-made trailer and a 12’x 20’ storage unit to a company that employs over 150 people working in four service centers in three states and two foreign countries with a geographical focus on the Intermountain West. RAM’s safety culture has resulted in over 1.4 million man hours (over 3-1/2 years) worked without a lost time incident. In addition to conveyor service, RAM also offers service in these areas: process maintenance, coating and lining, fabrication, electrical, industrial construction and structural engineering. RAM focuses on the mining, power generation, aggregate and food processing sectors.
